Innovo appoints proposals lead in the UK to support strategic growth

Innovo Engineering and Construction is pleased to announce the appointment of Craig Douglas to the role of Proposals Lead.

Based in Aberdeen, UK, Craig is responsible for supporting the company's growth plans for the UK and international markets which includes managing tenders and supporting the business development team as well as developing relationships with Innovo’s clients.

Craig’s career has spanned 40 years in the offshore sector with 30 years’ experience as Project Manager on survey, ROV, major IRM, SURF and subsea construction projects with major offshore contractors including Fugro, Oceaneering, Sonsub and Subsea 7.

His roles have involved providing subsea support to major North Sea operators including BP, Shell and Total with the provision and management of dedicated Diving and ROV survey vessels, including provision of new remote technology in the inspection and maintenance of established North Sea assets. In addition, his experience with major deepwater pipeline installations saw the introduction innovative ROV and survey support in record-breaking projects such as Bluestream, and the use of sonar imagery to progress ROV operations in difficult conditions with poor visibility through current turbidity.

Craig has a B.Sc. (Hons) degree from the University of Aberdeen with post-graduate qualifications in Survey (University of Glasgow) and Business Management (Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen).
